Go to World Book and select either Advanced or Student then use the search box to search your sport. When you use an article from World Book you will find a full MLA citation at the bottom of the article that you can just copy and paste into your Works Cited page.

The Gale Virtual Reference Library contains our collection of eBooks. It is a great resource for research. When you click on the link you can search all of the books in the collection for your topic or you can browse through the collection by scrolling down the page. You will find a complete citation for any article you use form an eBook near the bottom of the article. You can simply copy and paste this into your Works Cited.

Fact Monster Sports - A good place to start your research for sports topics, especially the major sports. It doesn't work as well for more obscure topics.

Wikipedia, while it should never be your only source of information, can be very helpful, especially for obscure topics. Simply type your topic in the search box. You can also find the citation for articles on Wikipedia under Tools. Look at the bottom of the list of Tools and you will see "Cite this page." Remember we use MLA formatting for citations in Scotia.
